W208 radio
 

hi there....I had the original blaupunkt radio stolen from a W208 (pre-facelift '99) single din. A local car accessory store (halfords UK) told me that in order o put a JVC unit in I would also need another connector cable between existing connector boxes and new unit......is this the case or is there a radio that will slot right in without the need to buy extra wiring?

i put a jvc double din in my w208 (2000) didnt need any connectors fitted straight in all i had to do was cut out the plastic seperator between old radio and shelf, however i did need an ariel adaptor as merc uses a male connection where as uk uses female £1 off Ebay
