Stereo cut out now no sound
 

I was driving home this evening listening to music in my 52plate c180k se coupe kompressor and my standard mercedes stereo cut out, it lights up and everything but no sound, tryed volume settings, turning on and off, turning car on and off but still no sound, any thoughts anyone??
