Default Sirius radio variety

Is it just me, or is Sirius radio not providing us a lot of choices or radio stations?

I traded in my Acura TL for my new CLK, and the TL had XM Radio. XM had at least 2, if not 3 times the radio stations and a much bigger variety. Why did Mercedes decide to run Sirius on their cars. Was it just cheaper for them? I'm kind of disappointed. At least I got a year of free service. But if it stays on the same level of quality/quantity, I probably won't pay for it afterwards [:@]

Well, you now have Howard "GutterBrain" Stern. Whoopty.

I'm sure it boils down to cost for MB. Money makes the earth spin.

I have XM. It's interesting what you say about Sirius' variety. I don't think XM has much.

Woopty-do as in, he's on Sirius and it's not a selling point for me either. I don't think he's retarded, though. He's just stupid for being a smart person.

I have had both starting with xm when it was new. Then I bought a new 2005 Dodge Magnum and since it is made by the same company as our mb cars it came with a sirius radio but I fell in love with the sirius and when i just traded my 2005 cadallac with the xm in it for a sl600 i ordered the sirius kit for it too. I guess it is just a matter of taste but my wife and I in our middle 50s and our 32 year old son all perfer the sirius radio.
I am NOT a howard stern fan either! I love music, if i want talk i listen to AM
