Hello:

The windshield suction cup that mount that comes with the Sirius radio isn't very practical for my S430. The windshield has a very steep slope and the radio sits very far from the driver. Also, having the wires run up to the dash looks like crap.

I managed to run the antenna wire from the rear dash to the front without being able to see it at all (tucking into the gap between the rear seat and the door, then under the strip near the runningboard and then under the passangers floor mat) so that it surfaces right under the command center on the passangers side.

If I could mount the radio the the passangers side of the command consol I would be set.

Has anyone found a really good car mount that works with the S430 in that area? I have found a few online but sticking an adhesive sticker on the interior isn't my first choice. Any other solutions out there?

I'd suggest selling your external Sirius unit and getting XM. Much more programming options and I think it's cheaper too

 

When XM hires Howard Stern I will. :-)

Yep, he does have lots of fans. But, you can just go to the local bar and look for drunk people and they are just as clever and entertaining as he is.

 

I just like listening to him. He was the decision maker for me when it came to XM vs. Sirius.
