I tried to do a forum search and couldn't find what I'm looking for.

I want to replace my factory stereo w/ a JVC or Clarion headunit.(AVX44, VRX485svdor VRX385USB)

The receivers/head units I'm looking at have a chassis size of I, E, orJ. (these are single DIN, right?)

But of all the car-audio sites, none have a mounting kit to fit these head units.
Bestbuy.com says that units won't fit at all in my car, while Crutchfield.com states they will fit with a 'modified mount'.

I'm thinking someone out there must make mount-kits for an 05 C-class?

I looked up Scosche, but seems like all they have is doube din?

Any help or advice... please! Thanks in advance.

Scosche has some fascination with sub-sized cubby boxes: you might like the Metra 99-8712 a bit better.
