Default I'M STUMPED! Audio + CD changer acting up!

I'm hoping a genius here can help me. I came back from vacation after not using my car for a week, and when I started it up and went to turn the stereo on, the stereo turned on, but no music was coming out. The CD magazine was also stuck in the changer. I removed the CD changer (A 203 820 90 89) and unplugged the two chords in the back, then re-plugged them back in, and still the display on the radio says "No CD Changer."

I'm confused as to what is wrong...is it my radio or my CD changer? The CD changer spits the magazine back out now, but when I put it back in, the changer doesn't automatically feed it the magazine the rest of the way in like it used to.

Is there a genius out there that can help me?

Paul

A possible simple fix would be to take the fuses out for the radio and cd changer. Reinstall after baout 10 minutes and see waht happens. That's one way to clear the error codes. Make sure you have the radio code to input after you put the fuses back in.
