Whenever I attempt to turn on my radio, the panel lights up, the radio antenna extends, but the radio displays E 2 andthen shuts down. does anyone know aboutthis problem?

 

Your head unit has a security code that you need to punch in everytime you disconnect the battery, or remove the unit. You can get that code by going to your local MB dealership. They will need the VIN number and some require proof of ownership as well. Once you have that number, your unit should work fine.
