Default noisy roof?

now I'm constantly treating my seals with rubber uv protectants to keep them in like new condition, however they still can make a rubbing noise or a squeak of sorts. I found if I waxed the painted metal surfaces where the seals come in contact, including around the trunk lid, that the noises are greatly reduced. I use a 3M wax that really stands up well for much longer than any other products I have used in the past and is easy to use. I don't want to use a oil or grease on the painted metal or seals that would catch dirt or cause the seals to deteroirate over time. The product # is 39526, but any good wax will probably work fine. just make sure your surface is clean and use only on the painted metal Register today for free or log in if already registered to remove this ad!
