I have recently moved to Dubai from England and am in need of a car. Because my needs are different over here and because there is permanent sunshine a roadster is high on the list. I have had a hankering for an SLK for some time but would like to the know the in's and out's of buying one. I will have a budget of about $15-18,000 but what are the pittfalls? What do I need to look for when buying one? Are there any weak points? How tunable are they? How easy are they to work on? Which is the best model? Lots of questions I know but I sure someone can help.
