I recently had a problem with the car shaking as soon as I started it up. What happens is whenever the car is in drive or reverse, but my foot is on the brake and the car is not moving, and the A/C is off, the entire engine shakes/vibrates pretty violent.. It stops shaking once I get movingor if I turn the A/C on. When I come up to a stop light, the car will just start vibrating really badly until I get going again. . The engine still does the shaking though when the AC is off. What is it and how can I fix it? Thanks.

Well guys this is what I got: Performed short test found DTC 2044-001, 004; 2020-001; 201B-001, 002, 004, 008 and
201C-001 in ME-SFI. Also found all cylinders as misfire faults. Found partial load vent hose upper and lower leaking air.
Lower control arm bushings. Both front torque strut cracked. Front torsion link boots torned. Engine mounts worn. Purge valve
hose from charcoal canister torn with major leak. Total cost of repair: $4,272.00. This is what happens when you go underway for 6 months and leave your car with your wife.!!!!!
This reminds me of what the BMW dealership said to me when my 3-series sedan
fell apart at about 40K miles:
"Ownership comes with a price"
That's an exact quote, told to me by the service mgr.
I told him that the price was too great and that I'd keep what he said in mind when
it came time to buy another car, which I did, which as you know, was NOT a BMW.
