Default Rear Defrost Qustion

I have a 1997 E420 and some body work was done recently which required removal of the rear windshield. The work was completed, but they forgot to reconnect the cable to the rear window defroster. I would rather reconnect myself than take it back to them. Does anyone know where the connection point is. I assume it is either in the upper trunk area behind the rear seat on the passenger side; or, in the panel area above the right shoulder of the rear seat, passenger side. Anybody know, and are there any tricks to the reconnect? Thanks. Register today for free or log in if already registered to remove this ad!

usually there are 2 points on either side, they are under the paneling right by the windows. just pull back the panel slightly and youll see them. but what probably happened was the contact broke off the glass so itll need to be soldered back onto the glass.
