My R350 has approx. 52k miles and I have replaced all of the 6 tail lights and I am still getting a message from the dash control center stating the lights in the right and left are having issues. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks,
Bruce

It is a known problem with the tailight circuit board. Apparently the fix is to resolder some loose connections. THe MB dealer in Las Vegas fixed it for me in one day , under warranty, while we were driving through there on vacation in June.
needs an updated wire harness and ground. you need to remove a wire from the connectors and insert the wire into a new harness. both sides need the update.

Thanks for all the inforamtion about the rear lights. It was the rear wire harness for the tail lights. I called MBUSA about this problem and there has been a technical bulliten issued for this problem by MB. They recognize the mechanical and engineering problem and the customer has to pay for the repair? Seriously! It is not the out of pocket expense, it is the added frustration and just owning up to mistake by the manufacturer which should be repaired by the MB.
