hi all,
just joined and had a question about my 2009 s550. i asked in the tech section and noticed there are technical topics here too so hope its ok to ask here also since not sure which is the proper place to ask.
wondering where i can get a chart of the fuses a 2009 s550. is it somewhere in the car? or do i need to purchase a service manual? if so, where could i get one for a good price? also, what's the cheapest or easiest way to be able to play dvd's while driving?
thanks!
richard

i dont think the car comes with one. when i work on them, i check for the fuse chart to find the cigarette lighter fuse and never have luck. usually the chart is with the spare tire in the tool kit or on the left side of the dashboard is where they are usually kept. alot of the new benzes just dont have them.

You can get the Video in Motion done for about $650 installed the parts are not cheap. Just do yourself a favor and don't get some knockoff parts from China.
today i found a 2009 S550 with the fuse chart in the bag in the trunk with the spare tire tools. i was with the lug nut wrench and gloves. there is a place for the fuse chart on the driverside dash panel where there are fuses but the fuse chart that comes with the car actually doesnt fold up to fit in the designated place for it?? so you should have one in the car someplace.

thanks everyone for your help.
some questions. i know they get dumber towards the bottom.
where do i find the video in motion unit?
to save $650 is it possible to get a service manual and cut or ground the wire which tells the dvd/display the car is not in park?
whats the best way to get the fuse box covers off without damaging them? got the passenger side one off with my hands. cant seem to get the driver side one off.
figured out two of my own dumb questions. i found out that navtv makes the video in motion unit and you just force the fuse covers off. can anyone answer the one about saving $650?
thanks!
