We have an dark blue '85 300D that needs a new home. It is too much of a classic to post anywhere else but on the Mercedes Forum. If we had room on the insurance $, we probably would make it into a Sunday driver. It has about 250K miles, needs an alternator and maybe a rear axle rebuild. Minor rust on driver side rear wheel area. Other than that, it runs great. We bought it from a doctor for our kids to drive once they got their licenses. Both of them preferred our other vehicles (teenagers). The car has sat for about 5 years waiting for the 2nd teenager to turn it down. It turns right over and runs fine.
