I'm replacing the bushing in my w123 240D steering idler arm. I have a good idea how to proceed after having seen posts on this and other forums. But my question is, can you replace the bushing without disconnecting the tie rod ends , drag link etc. All of those joints are tight so, can I do the job with the arm still in the car and connected to the other parts?
