New to the Mercedes Benz life. I just purchased my first used Mercedes Benz. I'd like to think i got a great deal on her, i guess you guys will let me know soon enough. =)

Purchased a 1996 Mercedes Benz E320, 130,000 on the dash. Car looks to be in excellent condition. Paint is really nice, car drives very smooth etc.

I picked it up for under $3000. Navy Blue with Camel (Peanut butter) interior, really a nice color combo.

Anyways i joined this forum because i really appreciate the quality build of this car and want to make sure i do what i can to preserve it. I've never liked a car as much as i do this one and i have owned many used cars. I hope i can keep her going forever.

Hello, Its a very under priced car. I look at used cars this way, The real cost of an average financed new car is roughly $550 / month. Never mind the instant depreciation.
Most modern well maintained cars will easily go 300,000 miles. You just have to drive it for 6 or 7 months and it will owe you nothing. Best is it has just under 2/3 of its expected life. You bought a fine bargain . Allan

Thank you. Just went back to the same dealer and the same parts guy was there. Ordered a shift linkage bushing, mercedes official brand oil, filter and the washer for the nut. He gave me some discounts without me asking, really kool guy. $84 for the parts. Not too bad.
