I own a W201 [190D 2.5 turbo Diesel]
I know little about cars in general but i try to learn about my mercedes. I am 16 and I'm proud to say my first car was a Mercedes Benz. I'll be more proud to keep this car as long as i possibly can.
I recently had some work done on the compressor and soon thereafter problems occurred that seemingly broke or, more possibly, fried the compressor. Ever since both of these events occurred, my cigarette lighter has seized working correctly. When i first used it, it wouldn't work without having to jiggle it around constantly or, as i found, a better solution was to keep it held in place by paper. This all happened a little under a month ago, and I recently bought a few things that plug into the cigarette lighter and i then found out that it does not work

Basically, heres the facts:
my cigarette lighter doesn't work
I recently experienced compressor and climate control work
Through a series of tests, I concluded it is NOT the fuse
I would appreciate any help possible, miniscule or ground-breaking.
