We have the same car in the family, coincidently with the same milage. We had the dealer replace the head gasket and the entire cooling system around 45kmi because of overheating.
Have you had a proper compression check done to be sure that it is the head gasket? I have had mechanics quote me a head gasket instead of replacing a thermostat and checking the temp sensor.

Car is not overheating just leaking oil and its pretty certain its the head gasket.. they are known to do that.. </P>

I know its a ways away but here in Nor Cal theres a great mechanic. I've known him forever he's my friends dad actually. I know its a drive but why not take it. He specializes in Euro cars so if your ever in the Bay Area John's European Auto is the place.
