I have a 2005 C240 4matic that randomly would not start when warm. I replaced the Crank position sensor and Thought I fixed the problem. A day later when driving I thought I could feel the engine hesitate a little bit. Once I hit the on ramp of the highway engine stalled. I was able to restart the engine and when I put it in drive it would weakly sputter forward then die again. I did this a dozen times. Engine would idle fine and I could rev it up but when I put it in gear it would sputter and die similar to running out of gas. Shortly after it would not start. It would turn over but never catch, just like before I changed the CPS. I put in 5 gal of gas even though the gauge was at 1/2 a tank. Waited an hour and It started and drove normal to my house about 10 minutes away. I have not driven it since. It does have a check engine light on and my OBD II reader cannot link to the car. Is there a camshaft position sensor that I should be checking? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
