1980 240d manual trans problem

Default 1980 240d manual trans problem

Parked my 80' for about two months and now wont shift into first or second...anybody have any thoughts?<IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">

There is a clutch slave cylinder that applies hydraulic pressure to depress the clutch. It is under the car by the clutch bell housing, on the driver's side. This is like a mini-master cylinder. Possibly it has a blown seal or all the fluid leaked out and you are not able to truly disengage the clutch even though the clutch pedal depresses by foot to the floor.
