assuming the slk230 has the same 170 820 09 26 module. look for it in the relay box next to the battery. if you remove it or install another, make sure the battery ground is disconnected.

You may need to purchase a special transmission dipstick from them too. runs about $60 and you can't leave in the tranny. otherwise you'd be guessing if you're adding oil. there is a tab that can be broken off the cap to access if it hasn't been into before. If you need to have it changed, make sure you go to someplace that completely drains the transmission and the torque converter, replace filter. and you should do this about every 50,000 miles. what few leaks that may show up are usually fairly easy to fix and should be.
