SL500 1995 struts

Installed struts/shocks last evening - the hex on top - is this an adjustment for ride tension? If so what/where do you set it? I hope it is a dumb question and there's no adjustment.

no tension adjustment at all..just a nut thats all

Thanks a ton. The instruction that came with the shocks used an adjustment term and it was vague. It didn't make sense.
