Hi all, hope some of you might be able to clear up a few queries i have about my future purchase.ive come across a 450-20slc! Apparently theres only ever been 500 -20 models made and the one im looking at is only 1 of 2 in the uk! The differences are the wheel base is longer than standard, it has the 5.0l ali block motor in it instead of the usual 1978 4.5l and it has panoramic side windows, ie the pillar goes down into the door with the glass instead of remaining in place like usual!!
Has anyone come across this model before? If so what sort of money am i looking at to buy it? As the seller says to make him an offer but clearly knows what its worth.

Oh and forgot to mention its a hard top not a soft top

 

Also forgot to mention this model was issued with only a single wing mirror on the drivers side, it is a RHD.

 

So i understand, but im told only 500 450-20slc models were made?
Being a newbie im quite green to the model range! Did the 1978 450 slc 5.0 have the panoramic windows, single wing mirror and longer wheel base?

 

If we are talking about the same model how much are they worth? What should i offer the guy?

 

What about the panoramic windows? Did all slc models have pillarless windows when they were wound down?
