Default Error Code Displayed

hi, i have checked through all of the switches relating to the soft top and they all do what they are meant to, continuity wise.

once i did this i managed to get the roll bar down, and the roof now works as it should, up and down.
however when the top is down i get no alarms
when the top is up i get an alarm and one code,

2- limit switch, left locked, soft top storage compartment cover

which switch exactly is this and how best to resolve the issue

regards

Lee

the best way to test that switch is to put the top completely up, with the cover closed and put a test light or meter to pin #20 on the long y connector on the control module. make sure you have a good ground on the light or meter. It should show continuity. with the top down but with the top cover up or still open it should show open. there are a couple of pins, one on each side, behind the roll bar that you can use your top tool to open the cover manually. with this test you'll know what the module is getting. pin #21 is the other side.

problems all resolved, it was pin 17 not showing continuity.
the limit switch top left needed to be adjusted.
once done full movement available.

thanks for your help.
