ok so i am new and have been reading around for a little bit. ride is a 1980 450 SL, the antenna has been broken buy the usual kids, and i was wondering what would be a good replacement at a reasonable price. i have checked ebay but would prefer to hear from the gang here

also i am missing the back carpet on the drivers side so same question. i dont need much to get this care back to mint but those are the two first on my list.

you can get the antenna at autohausaz.com under body trim, very reasonable. over $50 free shipping. I suggest the Hirschmann for $54. I don't know if you can get just the back carpeting piece you need, but the complete kit for the whole car is $530 at performanceproducts.com. might call them and see if you can get just what you need.

another thing you might try, some of the local upholstery shops can have samples. sometimes the exact oem replacement is available by the yard and can be ordered by make, model and year. try an online search too. basically if you find a color match, just using the right side piece upside down for the tempate should work fine. check first upside down on the left to make sure of fit before cutting.
