S500 Airmatic Problem
I have a Mercedes S500 AMG equipped with Airmatic system which is not working at all. The multipurpose display says, 'Airmatic, STOP, CAR TOO LOW!'. i think it is an electronic fault. Can anyone tell me which module controls the airmatic system?

vovpar, you speak the language of true experienced W220 guy now. i think you really did learn a lot.
once the red airmatic warning appears on the multifunction display, the airmatic system is dis-abled. actuating the switch might activate it, but if not... there's a problem.
if there's ride height problem, then a leak could be present.
if the pump is faulty or the valve is leaking (run time exceeded)... then it will shut off.
it is wise if he can tell us more about the symptoms.

Dear Sleepwalker
Thanks for your reply, now;
First of all, the car is sitting too low. front tyres went inside the fender.
You said actuating the switch might activate it, how do I do that? where is the actuating switch?
How can i check if the pump is working or now?
What is the coding thing? how it works? I'm actually new with Mercedes but I am a techi, you can try me. Please help me with this.

RE: S500 Airmatic Problem
then you got a leak. if both front are down with the same level (+/- 2cm), then the valve/pump must be leaking.
if the other side is a bit higher, then it's a shock absorber air leak.
the raise and lower switch is located in the upper control panel. it's together with rear blinds, anti-towing, etc.
the pump is located on the fron right bumper (concealed). you can listen to it or any hissing sound.
coding is what takes vovpar to dig deeper into his pocket now. it is programming the computer/control unit to recognize installed equipments in the car.
