I do not know what to do, this is my first MB. We love it but all of a sudden in the morning the shift **** is not coming out of Park, can anyone help me in that?

 

i had the problem a couple of times, and it was when I parked on uneven surfaces. i don't park on uneven surfaces any more, and I dont have any problems. good luck.

 

could be a bad stop lamp switch at the brake pedal but its probably gonna need a new shifter assembly...pretty common issue. you need to have the codes read out. ive had many 220 chassis that had that problem and the fix has been everything from stop lamp switchs to bad keys to bad conductor plate in the trans
