Having trouble with all three, would like advice on how to fix or perhaps a recommendation for a shop in Orange county CA , that does these kind of repairs(not a dealer).

this is my wifes car, and I am not sure how these things happen

1) ash tray , seems to be off kilter when opening, and when closed need to do the credit card trick every time.

2)Coin holder, slides in and out with no resistance does not close automatically any more, found a coiled spring inside the compartment and has not worked correctly since.

3) Cup holder, the front and the open mechanism is all jacked up, the wood cover is separated and one of the arms to open it seems to be broken.

Appreciate any ideas , pictures etc.

 

For better than ten years I took my Mercedes Benz vehicles to Bruce Strauss Auto Care in Costa Mesa. However, I moved out of the area about 3 years ago and haven't been back. They were located at 350 McCormick Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 which is between Red Hill and Airway, just east of the 55 Freeway. There phone number was (714) 549-0526 back when I used them. I never had a problem they couldn't solve and they treated each car as if it were their own. At the time my cars included a diesel sedan, a 450SL and an S420. They were wonderful, competent, timely, and honest. I never once got the feeling someone was trying to sell me something. They would simply tell me what was wrong and then it was my turn to ask questions. They were very easy to deal with and gave complete and accurate explanations of what they had done and what would need to be done on my next visit. I just can't say enough nice things about them.
