Hello. I am Alex. I have a 2004 S500. It started to act kind of weird. First problem was that, in the morning the key will not unlock the door, then I physically unlock it with the metal key and it will engage the alarm for a few minutes. I insert the key in the ignition but nothing changes. (the key wont turn) Just have to wait for the alarm to stop. After the alarm stops, I have to wait for a few more minutes and it will turn the key and start the car. If I start the car, and then turn it off, as long as I start it again with in couple of hours, everything works fine. If the car stays off for more than about 2 hours, the key will quit working, and I have to go through the same process.
Replaced the key battery, replace the main battery.
Any advice will be appreciated.
