Default 2003 S600 Problem....HELP!

I've been having a problem with my 2003 S600 with 20K miles. The car seems to power off then back on while I'm driving. Once, I was going 70mph and other times I was going slower. The entire car seems to power off, including the radar detector plugged into the lighter. I have brought the car to the Dealer but they couldn't find any "codes," or duplicate the problem.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm getting a little worried that this will happen on a highway with my family in the car.

Thanks!

So many possibilities of problems on these complicated and high engineered cars. Try rechecking the gas pedal cables and engine area connected to cables/levers, to specs, one more time, also the brake lights switch. Hard to do. Try www.alldata.com . Even a minor throttle valve(s) dirty condition can cause issues, also air filters, and MAF dirty and connection hoses to the ETA(s),etc…. Also, check the possible many old and aging stored computer codes. I chase similar issues, as I repair wiring and ETA's, etc. Hang in there. End is near.

wmercer,
How would some of these issues cause the car to shut off and on while driving?

This car has NO GAS PEDAL CABLES. This may be an ignition switch problem.

If the lighter socket is loosing power then it sounds like it may even be an immobiliser problem or key problem as the power is off unless the key is in and immobiliser is disengaged?

Does the W220 come with the immobiliser override key that plugs into the socket in the foot well under the stearingwell like the W140 did, if so plug it in and drive around, could help to identify if it is an immobiliser problem?
