Default 2006 R Class Bluetooth Question

Does anyone know for sure if a voice control system with integrated phone (bluetooth) from my 2003 C240 will work in my new (used) R class?
My 2003 C-240 was recently totaled when teenager hit me from behind while I was stopped at a stop sign. The R class has an option for the blue tooth, but I can not find out if I can use my existing parts. My 2003 had the voice and telephone added by dealer two years after purchased so it is not in the paperwork and the insurance company will not add it to the value of the car.

Any and all help will be appreciated.
Jim

Took the bluetooth out of the 2003 C240 and the connections are entirely different. Know I can not use it. Now a new question, anyone know where I can find a compatible unit to convert my 2006 R class to bluetooth? It is prewired for the cradle or a puck, don't know what I will need. Any help around?
Thanks,
Jim

You said it is pre wired if it is pre wired all you should have to do is plug in the bluetooth puck in the center console armrest. then you should be ready to go. I sent you a pm. with my cell number. so I can send you a picture of the puck. my phone is not letting me upload a picture onto the site for some reason.

Default Pictures and some descriptions

Bottom of top part of console with three screws loose that hold it.

Top of console taken from passenger seat, notice no clips or frames.

Side view of removed raised part next to passenger seat, these wires connect to a switch that has a wrench printed on it.

Side view of tool switch.

These shots show the prewired cables and the pin connections that I think a cradle must plug into. Under the raised portion of the top compartment of console.

You can see the raised portion of the top console on the passenger side, it has a half moon dark shadow on it, BUT nothing electrical is in the top half, but only cables under raised portion.
Thanks for any help,
Jim

my 2009 R320 has the connection for a bluetooth puck which I bought off eBay, seems to work fine. If I connect a Windows phone to it, when it uploads the address book it creates a number for Cortana so you can run to and ask questions, it is pretty cool.
