ML320 2001 Headlight bulb
I currently have a 2001 ML320 and my front left headlight just went out. I went online to search for a replacement bulb, and most site searches have come up with a low beam xeonon bulb for $127 a piece. I'm pretty sure that I don't have xenons/hids on my car as I have the older checked housing and my lights are quite yellow. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they even offered xenon's/HIDS in the 2001 ML320. If by chance that they are xenon bulbs, are there any bulbs out there that aren't as yellow? or in the case that the bulbs aren't xenon's does anyone happen to know the particular size?
Thanks in advance

Well - I have a 1998 ML320 and have replaced a few bulbs. You get them at a local car parts store - in Canada Canadian Tire - in US - Pep Boys? They are about 30 bucks but are not Xenon, they are halogen in my car - I think Sylvania Silverstars. About 30 bucks? They are finicky to replace - make sure to wear clean cotton gloves or they will blow quickly in my experience. There is usually a look-up table at the car parts store which will get you the right ones....

My '04 ML350 takes an H7 bulb, which should cost you around $10, give or take. The $200-some deal is some kind of misunderstanding, unless you DO have HID lights. Replacement is simple, except there is barely enough space to fit your hand through. In Russia, I just paid $7 for the bulb and another $10 for the labor, as I couldn't manage to do it on my own. But now I know The right side looks even more inconvenient, since there is really no space because of the airbox.

Yes, you need H7 bulbs.
I would contact djelonzo, e-bay member, I bought 2 of them ($1.50 each) and received 4 just in case they would brake in shipping process but all 4 arrived in perfect shape, like brand new and as described, oem OSRAM 12V 55W H7U 64210L (Long Life) made in Germany. I had even choice to pick Osram or Phillips and bulb filament was so new that I would say that they have never been turned ON. It was brighter then my other side oem bulb so I replaced both of them, since I had two free bulbs, now my headlights are better then ever. Go with OEM and you will be 100% satisfied or go to Walmart $8 China.
