Default ML Power Sterring Reservoir/Tank Leak

I have a leak from above the ps unit. I have isolated it to the tank. How do I remove the tank above the unit? I purchased a new "o" ring and am not sure if the tank pops ortwistsin or not. Is this an easy job without damaging the tank?

Default RE: ML Power Sterring Reservoir/Tank Leak

Hello, if you have an older ML (163) .... there is a bolt in the front of the reservoir. remove that bolt. there is also a clip on the back side of the reservoir. The clip needs to be slid out sideways. Once the bolt is out and the clip is out, as well as the hose, you can gently pry the reservoir off. When re-installing, apply a generous amount of silicone and put the seal/o-ring on the inlet neck of the p/s pump, then push it on and make sure it is all the way set. Reassemble everything else.
