Anyone know if Its possible to change from manual to automatic gearbox on a ML320?

Forced is rather polite. That is certainly a great way and the route most followed. I suspect that is the voice of experience. Just the electrical issues
alone make me cringe. Finding a good computer programmer , who can correctly reprogram the OBD computer and finding the correct crown and pinion to match the new automatic and its associated set up is a expensive job probably in the $1500 range. If you are wealthy, have a shop and can afford the bills, It is do able. However if you are like most of us I advise avoiding a big headache and take forced's advise . Allan
