Hi everyone,

Just wanted an experienced opinion on the following odd behaviour of my 99/00 ML 320.

The car starts but sometimes it is stuttering, you can feel the car jumping softly, as if the engine is very cold, (which it isnt, 25-30 degree celsius garage temp)
But here is the more concerning issue.

The car at random times loses power whilst driving, and when I get to below 50, the car starts stuttering like above, i can push the accelerator but its as if the rev will not go up. you can feel the engine trying but it just is not getting anywhere.

then also randomly the car feels like it gets stuck in a gear and the car takes off, and when it reaches midrange rev, it unlocks and goes to the next gear, but the car jerks as if it was stuck in the first gear.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does this sound like gearbox issues?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
