Default DVD Bypass park.

DVD Bypass park for a 2009 ML350.
Does anyone know how to bypass the Park restriction function to play a DVD movie all the time?

Do you mean the 6 DVD changer in the comand unit on the 09 ML350 premium package can play movies on the Nav screen even if you dont have the rear entertainment unit? Is this in the North American models? That would be awsome!!

I am picking mine up tomorrow and was wondering about this since I noticed they describe it as a video capable 6 DVD changer.

there is a thread on Benzworld that had a group buy that I missed out on for a device called VIDEO IN MOTION. it will disable the park feature on the comand DVD but it will set you back atleast a few hundred. I enquired and they said they will have another group by soon.

Default Device?

That meeting on Benzworld took place in England, is there one local in Toronto Canada or anywhere close?
The device is just a computer component that plugs into the Navigation system and it basically relays the signal direct right?

Well if anyone hears of the next meeting or a place to buy the device, let me know, and how much approx, maybe we can get it mailed out to us.

The group buy is from a store in New york, I emailed them and they said they were going to have another group by in a few days. I have pasted the link below, hopefully it works. Let me know what you think about it. Also I dont have the rearview camera but if I installed one do you think the input for it exists on the back of our comand unit so I could just plug and play?

Default standard W163 screen resolution

I was told our navigation/radio screen does not have enough resolution for DVD/TV viewing. People use W210 navigation screens, they have proper resolution. Anybody can confirm this?
