1999 E300 turbo diesel 318000 miles, drive it everyday unless my wife beats me to it. Consistent 27 mpg local, as much as 32mpg long drive. I'm sure that would improve with new injector nozzles. Plenty of power, smooth driving, comfortable.

Smile 1991 300 E 4 Matic Owned since new

Now has 87000 miles on it
Black with beautiful deep tan leather interior.
Drives smoothly.
Accelerates smoothly.
Visibility all around : phenomenal
Always serviced at MB dealers in the North and South.
No major repairs.
Front axle rubber bushing, 'cracked and leaking' so new one installed at big cost.
Now minor leak of oil from the rear of the head gasket. Just a drop or 2 overnight.
Always garaged, and I am amazed at the quality of the workmanship, which makes it feel that this car is new even after 27 years.

Have never changed the original hydraulic fluid.
Should I?

a 1000 mi/ 160km and it averaged 29 mpg. still running smoothly, no leaks, and in

Default Love my '05 E320 CDI

I have a W211 '05 E320 CDI, flint grey with 318,819 miles. Have had to replace 5 of 6 glow plugs, motor and transmission mounts, and many small and cosmetic replacements e.g. smart rearview mirror, automatic rear sunshade, driver and passenger side rearview mirrors (gaskets worn out), shifter console, Driver and passenger front seatbacks, etc. Also installed factory Sirius. All minor repairs/replacements were done with parts found on eBay and some on Amazon. Purchased the car with 254,000 miles for $9,000 in 2009. Hail damage was worst problem at purchase which was repair via paintless dent repar. This has been a terrific hobby.
