Radio Code Reset

RE: Radio Code Reset
You should find this 4 digit code hand-written on the last page of the documents you have in the jacket.
If not, then just call your nearest MB dealer and give them the VIN and they should be able to give you
the code on phone.
In case you get messed up even with the correct code, and you get locked out. Don't worry. Remove the
battery terminal(+) for atleast 4 hours and the computer will reset to let you put the correct code and start
your radio once again. All this is mentioned in the owners manual.

Hi, I'm in a similar position except I don't have any documentation containing the radio code, in addition the code my Becker radio is asking for is a 5 digit one not 4 digit. Anyone have any idea if there's a hack to unlock it? Or if I need to use a website, what the cheapest and most reliable is? Don't really want to take it to a dealership for them to charge me top money just for getting a code when I've already removed the radio myself and have the serial number at hand.

To update this for anyone else coming across this post through Google, I ended up going with these guys based in the UK: https://www.rapidradiocodes.co.uk/ma...urers/mercedes. They had a lot of 5-star reviews on TrustPilot and another service, and at £4.99 (about 6 USD) claim to be the cheapest instant provider of Mercedes radio codes out there. Instant does definitely mean instant as I had my radio code in my inbox seconds after payment, can't recommend them enough.
