Cool P1570 message

Hi there,
I have a 1999 E-320 which in the last few months has had electrical problems. It started with consuming the battery charge overnight. I changed the battery but it continued, I drove it to a mechanic and he first told me to change the key ($367.00) but the problem continued, the mechanic told me the problem code was P1570 faulty DAS to the ME - SEI (what ever that mean) I will appreciate if somebody has a common language explanation to the problem.
Thanks

Hi
You need to read other systems as there is often codes stored else where that may relate to your problem,(in fact my data says that there are other codes) the code means :- ignition switch control module/ECM(ecm is the electronic control module) I think you need to find a mechanic with a Star diagnostic tool to read your car's memory.
