Hi all my names oliver and just joined the forums

To cut the long story short i bought an 1998 e320 petrol with 143k

Problem: misfire on revving & on kickdown there is a large hesitation & lack of power. There is no warning lights and my mechanics computer wont connect to the car because its saying theres a canbus managent problem

When it first happend i saw tons of blue smoke pouring out of the exhaust which then stopped and it had a horrible sulfur smell to it.

It wont go above 3000 rpm either. Gears change perfectly

I noticed the transmission area (above cats) was getting hot aftet revving on idle. Could this be the catalytic converters?
