I have a 99 E320. It has given me more problems than any car I have evah had! Three times it has lost 90% of its power. I'm talking about going 13mph. The dealership fixed it, saying it had something to do w a chip that controlled half of the V6. When the chip malfunctioned, it shut off half the engine!
For the last few years, its been OK, but my faith in the vehicle and the company has been shaken, and heve concerns it may malfunction for the forth time.
Any folks out there with similar experiences?
I Don't think the MBs are built as well as the old ones. Are they getting too complicated? Is MB cutting corners? I think perhaps my next car is a Lexus.[:@]
