Hi everyone -

I happened to look out th window tonight and noticed that the passenger side head lamp was on on the driveway. I went out and I could not unlock the car with the remote so I ahd to use the manual key. I put he key in the igition and nothing happened. I tried again and ominous red warning lights came on stating low battery power. Eventually, the car started, but now three malfunction messages appeare:

ABS MALFUNCTION
ESP MALFUNCTION
LOW BATTERY

As long as I had it running, I took a spin around the block and the steering was stiff. Feels as if power steering is gone too. What gives? One toher thing the past two days I smelled burning plastic in the car, but very faint. I opned hood and did not smell it there. Any ideas?

 

I just changed my passenger side headlamp yesterday. Today I have the similar problem. Limp Mode, ABS ESP malfunction, heavy steering. What was the fix to this problem?

 

The steering wheel for me is hard to turn! Don't know it's happened with me. can any one please give me idea.

 

Hello - have you checked the power steering fluid level?
