2005 E320 Bluetooth Phone Retrofit- Help
Hello,
I have installed several bluetooth systems on Mercedes cars before.
However, my latest venture did not go as planned. I opened up the telematics compartment in the trunk of my 2005 E320 CDI to install the Mercedes Bluetooth kit I purchased on ebay. What I found was that there are wires there are hook up the antenna compensator, and unconnectedfiber opticto hook up the MOST ring to the Handset bluetooth control module. The car even has the coiled wire in the center arm rest for the cradle hookup.
However, there is no power supply cable for the Bluetooth Handset control module in the trunk. There is a small cable that looks like it it the power supply connector to the antenna switch. But the large connector for the handset control module is missing. Also missing is the mic wires.
If you look at the installation pdf (http://phdwebsite.powerpulse.cc/Phon...0E%20Sedan.pdf) the entire cable set shown in Fig 4 , page 3 is missing.
Any ideas? Is it possible that Mercedes has the nerve to include part of the wiring but not the complete set of wires?
