Default Brakes

Hello,
My front brakes are squeaking so I was going to replace them. I bought new pads and the brake wear sensors. When I removed the wheels the pads were near brand new and the passenger side was the only one that had the wear sensor on it.
My question is does the driver side suppose to have a brake wear sensor as well?

If I recall correctly, the front left OR right brake pads actually carry a brake sensor.

Thank you Forced induction.

I ran into a new issue tonight. I changed the front brake pads and replaced the sensors. Everything went fine but when i went to start the car the big red indicator came on telling me to depress the brake pedal. The pedal went all the way to the floor and I couldn't get the car out of park. My car is equipped with sbc but what could I have done to activate it?

Does anyone have any solutions?

Problem fixed after taking to the dealership. My sbc unit gave out. All it costs me was nothing. Best price!!!!
That part was under warranty.
