Default wing mirror indicators (repeaters) W209 LED replacement

Hi can someone advise how to remove the wing mirror cover to replace the LED, already sourced the LED just need to know how to get the housing apart. I believe there are three lugs holding it in place two above the mirror and one on the outside (right), but it does not seem to want to budge. Anyone opened one of these and know how much force to use as it's a pretty expensive part to break.

Thanks

Depends on the year of your car. could be a metal clip holding the mirror glass to the motor at the top of the glass if so remove the clip. or if you have no clip the glass pops off. BE careful! pull glass out from bottom of glass and pull to remove glass. then remove motor...small torx screws (3) then remove small screws all inside the housing...several of them look carefully for all screws. Im not totally sure cause all of these cars are differnt when it comes to removing the mirror. after screws are out then the mirror will pivot down...off the folding morror hinge. and take off cover. then remove LED.
