Default Crankshaft position sensor reset / reprogram

Just replaced my Crankshaft Position Sensor, now have a problem at acceleration. Idles fine, but when I push accelerator to get up to speed, it sputters a bit then recovers. Runs fine at speed. I've read some info that says I need some kind of reset for the CPS. Not sure of next steps.
Thanks
Doug

you really shouldnt need to do anything. just drive and the car will learn itself. ive replaced 100s of them and install and thats it. so you could have another issue.

Default other codes

Thanks chassis 221. Codes are PO 101 and 335. 335 is probably a leftover from the CPS. 101 says MAF range/performance. Maybe I did something when I r/r'd it to get to the CPS.

P0335 is wiring harness problem for crankshaft position sensor, moisture in connector. My W163 Star manual for ML320: Mercedes repair kit A210 540 00 33 should be used to fix P0335 (it's 120mm long pre-wired L5 2-pin CPS connector)
but I believe a simple pin or socket oxidation clening should do the trick. I would disconnect the battery and that should reset all of the faults to let the fuel trim adaptation relearn all settings and see what code will show up again (if any).
