My wife just bought an absolutely stunning used 2009 CLK350 with seemingly every option (including AMG wheels and amazingly fat tires).
I was really surprised to see it had fold down rear seats. The real type, where the bench part folds forward and the seat back folds flat. Super bonus to me since I've had Saabs (9000T and 9-5SE) and a huge feature is the fold-down seat... so few cars have it for some reason.
It seems like (?) this may only be an option, or maybe it was standard in some years. Can someone help me understand the lay of the land on this feature in the years around hers?
Oct 27 update: Dealer in Santa Barbara (SB Auto Group) advises all CLK coupes have fold down rear seats.
