Default Center Console Button lost its "spring" CLK 320

The most important button on the center console...the up air button...has lost its spring and is no longer functional. It has no push back and is just limp when I push on it..like a loose cover. What is the procedure to fix this button? thanks for any help.

Default button fixed

I figured it out. take a butter knife, push in the button next to it and pop out whatever comes out on the button that is not working. In my case there was a piece of broken plastic. I glued it, and popped it back in...now it works fine.
