Default 2000 CLK320 Transmission Problems

My car was running fine then the car wouldn't move, had it taken to local shop, was told it was a conductor plate in the transmission. $1300 later car was fine for a few months & stopped again, Same repair shop said I needed a transmission so had car returned to house, car carrier driver said he drove it on the truck & I drove it off. It still drives when I move it from the garage to the street but I am now ready to get it repaired but unsure about the transmission issue. Any suggestions???

Try an MB dealership. depending on what transmission you have in that car it could need a valve body. I would definitely get a second opinion from a dealer who knows your vehicle.
