A Class year 2000 have noticed a flashing red light on dash board about light switch on right hand side... No reference to it in my manual it is a little pimple of a light standing proud of the dashboard that can be depressed... what is it? also srs light is on disply after using grandchildrens car seats and wont go off anything I can do ??

I beleive that the little button your talking about is infact the alarm sensor. As to why it can be depressed, i have no idea.

But i have noticed that when the alarm is on the light is flashing, and when its off its not. Perhaps something todo with the immobiliser?
